Meet Our Founder

After fifteen years in the corporate world, Pooja Singh chose to follow her lifelong passion for Indian ethnic fashion. Her journey is more than a career change, it is a return to her creative roots.

She was always drawn to the saree because of its adaptability, symbolism, and potential to turn any event into a festivity. From draping her first designs for friends and relatives at weddings to creating sarees loved by international clients, Pooja’s deepest joy has been in exploring the saree’s many forms, fabrics, and stories.

Navirah starts with sarees for this reason. They are more than just clothes; they are an expression of Pooja's vision, which combines tradition and modernity, luxury and comfort, timeless design and creativity.

She worked in the fashion industry from 2011 to 2013, honing her craft in design and showing her creations at exhibitions and trade shows. Every encounter deepened her passion for sarees and honed her dream of starting her own company.

Pooja combines her love of textiles and her professional expertise with Navirah, beginning with sarees and eventually branching out into other ethnic clothing styles. Every Navirah saree is not only a piece of tradition but also a way for women today to express individuality with elegance and pride.
